Nursing, engineering, automotive or ag technology - there are hundreds of high-need jobs waiting for you. But first, you need to proper education. Build Dakota is a scholarship program created for skilled scholars entering high-demand programs at South Dakota technical colleges. And it allows you to earn your degree for FREE.
This scholarship program was established by the 2019 Legislative Assembly under the Skilled Workforce Student Scholarship Program. The intent of the program is to encourage students to seek educational opportunities in high-need and emerging occupations within the state. Qualifying programs for the scholarship may be certificate programs, associate's programs, or bachelor's programs in the final two years of the bachelor student's degree.
Acott/Wilson Scholarship
The Acott/Wilson Asphalt Industry Scholarship was established in 2019 from contributions from Bob & Ellen Thompson to honor Michael Acott and the Wilson Family's many accomplishments in the Asphalt Industry. The Acott/Wilson Scholarship is managed under the auspices of the NAPA Research and Education Foundation (NAPAREF) Scholarship Program, a 501(c)3 organization.
